Slideshow (pictures and short videos) of the Raging Wolf Bobs roller coaster at Geauga Lake. Most of these pictures were taken in 2006 and 2007. On June 16, 2007, there was an accident in which one person had minor injuries. Cedar Fair never repaired the ride, and it never operated again. In a letter dated August 31 (11 weeks later), Cedar Fair claimed the accident was still being investigated. In reality, they didn't want to spend the money to fix it because they knew they would be closing the park at the end of the season.Raging Wolf Bobs was my favorite coaster at Geauga Lake. It wasn't the tallest or fastest, but it was one of my first coasters and I always enjoyed it. The last video shows Dominator as well, showing how close my two favorite coasters were to each other.I used Nintendo's Wii slideshow feature to display the pictures and videos. I've taken hundreds of pictures at Geauga Lake over its last four seasons, so I may make other slideshows like this.

@jvgsjeff Unfortunately, the actual ride bears little resemblance to the original Riverview Bobs.

@jvgsjeff very cool. Thanks for the info. I'm 29 now and live in Michigan, but was born in Cleveland and lived there til 1990. This is great to find on here.

@hellakooked: The coaster was supposedly based on a classic coaster from Chicago called "The Bobs." So the "Raging Wolf" part was basically the new name for it, while the "Bobs" part was a reference to the coaster it was based on.

I loved this ride... but the name never made any sense! Raging Wolf Bobs?! What the heck does that mean?!?

No one ever rode this ever, you could just stay on for multiple rides, which I dont get because It was wayyyy better IMO than the Big Dipper, great long but fast ride! RIP
