Authorities are looking into reports the teen jumped two six-foot fences to get a hat he lost while riding the coaster. The teen was struck and killed while it was in operation, going full speed. The 17-year-old was decapitated. Authorities say the teen was in a restricted, off-limits area. The ride was shut down after the accident, but is expected to reopen on Monday. The teen and his parents were at the park with a Church group from South Carolina. In May 2002, a 58-year-old groundskeeper was killed after he hit in the head by the leg of one of the ride's passengers. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

Decapitation is really disturbing to me. I could see a totally mutilated body but its not as bad as seeing someone with their knocked head off. I'd be fucked in the head for life if I was on that coaster. Your head is like the whole essence of you as a person...its scary to imagine someone having to pick up the head and then someone sowing it back on the body after a bad accident or something.

At 18 you should have enough common sense to know that securing safety rails saves lives(not to mention its your JOB), not only that, the girl was 15, pedo bear alert! I could see if he was 15 and forgot to secure them...but 18? Come on now, age cant be used as a crutch for his negligence.Your son deserves to be in jail, risking other peoples lives because hes trying to look for some booty from a 15 year old, thats sick.
