My thinking is that it portrays to the SHORT and not the REALITY. Roger's wife has played three different roles in each short (a nurse, a damsel in distress, and lastly a park ranger) which in all aspects make no contribution to Jessica being married to Roger. Thus, being the cartoon version of celebrity models or something along those lines, it would make sense why there is a three page fold out of Jessica. Why the baby has it? Maybe for comical reasons
