This is Flashback, just a lot younger so that explains why it looks a lot better. Z-Force was taken out as a part of the ride relocation program six flags had and was moved to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was later scrapped and melted down due to lack of popularity and roughness.

owh thanks for the fact. Though I know it was sold as scrap metal. I was just wondering whether the roughness caused by it was because of the earthquake

That wasn't a clone, it was THIS ride renamed as Flashback. It won't be reappearing anywhere else however, it was scrapped.

haha loved how they were getting cut off at the end plus that ride looks better than flashback was if someone could tell me why they both were shut down that would be great thanks

Wow thanks for posting this!!!!..LOL I remember the Z force back in 85-86 when I was a kid and riding it the first time..I was scared!! Then came iron Wolf in 1990.And I heard they took it away now:( I know Great america is having a new coaster called X flight being constucted as of now..But I dont live in the IL anymore..closer to Magic Mountain these days..But I gotta get to Great america again when I come to Chi- town to visit!! |
