Greezed Lightnin' at (then-Six Flags) Kentucky Kingdom. It originally opened in 1976 at Six Flags Great America as Tidal Wave. In 1991 it closed and re-opened 4 years later as Viper at Six Flags Over Georgia. In 2002 it was removed and sent to Kentucky Kingdom and named after its cousin that used to be at Astroworld.

I rode this ride (Tidal Wave) at Great America in Cali, and also as The Viper at SF over Georgia. One of my favorite rides, I was so bummed when they took it down to build Superman - why couldn't they have taken down Ninja - the WORST ride of all time instead of the Viper??

@Coasterfreakboyman01 The loop was at Marriotts/Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara, CA, on their version of Tidal Wave. Around 2005 or 2006 it was transplanted onto Greezed Lightnin, which originally started as Tidal Wave at Marriott's Great America in Gurnee, IL. Afterward it went to Six Flags over Georgia as Viper, then came to Kentucky Kingdom.

Hey Drummer, this coaster debuted at Marriott's Great America in 1978 as the awesome Tidal Wave. It was removed from the park in 1991 to make place for the first B & M inverted coaster Batman in 1992. It had a short life at Six Flags Atlanta then moved again to Kentucky Kingdom where you see it now. Hopefully it will find a new home when Six Flags and the local community can work things out.
