www.xtremecoasters.com is proud to present Gueaga Lakes last ever operating season. The park will be a big miss as it had a huge collection of coasters in its heyday, and many other world class rides. Due to its location (being so close to Cedar Point) the park did not get the visitor numbers it needed to survive, and at the end of 2007, the park was closed down. Various rides were saved and re-located to different parks that are owned by Cedar Fair, but many did not make it. Such rides as The Villen have been sold for scrap for a price of $30,000. What a waste of a once world class ride. So enjoy a look at the parks last ever operating season. on dominator at kings dominion, they repainted the track orange instead of yellow, but the loop is still yellow. oh memories

u must have went when it was still six flags. When the park's name changed back to Geauga Lake, they had to rename the ride because Cedar Fair (the people who bought Geauga Lake from Six Flags) didn't have the right to the DC comic names (such as batman, superman, etc) so they had to change the name of it and they chose Dominator

i miss geauga lake. :(i used to go there every summer, it was the closest and most affordable amusement park to me.

villain is awesome! i like dominator better though...i rode that ride 20 times in 2007....and yes i counted! =]....but ya i think dominator is better than villain....villain hurt but it was fun!

everybody says villain sucks but i thought it was amazing. it was better than dominator by a pinch but dominator was amazing also |
