Cedar Point - A Legacy of Thrills and Safety

This is a production that I worked on with two classmates, Mark Lyman and Regina Pink, for a final project in our Digital Cinematography class at Cuyahoga Community College. We were given the option to film an action sequence, or to film a documentary. We chose a documentary, and Mark Lyman, suggested Cedar Point. Gasp! It wasn't me?Special thanks goes to Cedar Point and Public Relations Director, Robin Innes, for their cooperation with this project. I waited to post this until after Robin received a copy himself, thus the reference to Magnum's 20th Anniversary celebration has already passed. Hope you enjoy it.

@MyCatIsFtww Six Flags is a corporation not a park. there are over 16 six flags parks.

@TopThrillDan Oblivion isn,t vertical,ultra twister and superman the escape were the first vertical rollercoasters in the world.

Oblivion was the first to have a 90 degree drop, it opened in 1998.

guys if you have back pain or whatever or you just dont like jerky rides dont ride: Magnum, Corkscrew, or Mantis...they hurt like hell...Mantis you site on this thing and it crushes your balls... magnum and corkscrew is just so jerky ,,corkscrew cracked my neck!! |
