Includes 1/2 Climb Hill. One of Geauga Lake's newer coasters: a wooden track deck on steel frame. This coaster has the speed and height of a steel coaster but the rough ride and heavy G-forces of a "woodie" (it really hurts). This is the second front-seat POV I've done so I welcome your feedback.

The first time I had ever been to Geauga lake was last summer, the last summer before it closed. My brother wanted to ride this one last time but my dad said there was always another time. He never got that next time. It's gone forever =[

Thank you for posting this. This is my all-time favorite woodie. It will certainly be missed and never forgotten. As for CF, their day will come!

I took my family to GL years ago when my oldest 2 kids were still little and it was a memorable time for me. My oldest is grown now and on her own, but that day her and I rode the villein a bunch of times together. We had one of those special father-daughter moments that day. I'm very sad to hear that this ride is no more. Sold for scrap I heard. sigh....

If you want to see what real trick track looks like, check out a clip on Crystal Beach Cyclone

Ah yeah... okay, I see it now. Thanks! Yeah, this is a pretty sweet effect but I remember how it hurt and can imagine it would take a toll on the train. Sad, last year it was a completely changed ride. Re-tracked, no trick... became much less painful and seemed MUCH faster. Too bad it's looking like it's hitting the toothpick factory.

Yes Im pretty sure its in this video. It starts at 19 seconds. When the ride closed it was just a straight piece of track that went up into a hill. Before that though, the track rocked back and forth, like banked to the left and then to the right back and forth really fast. It was really painful, and hard on the trains, so eventually they removed it.

I'm still trying to understand "trick track". Is it in this video? What time? I keep hearing about "trick track" and sorta understand what it means but I've never seen someone define it with a video. Wish I could have gotten video of the first camel back removed from Big Dipper in the 50's but keep wondering what "trick track" looks like.

It was a lot better after they removed that one trick track section. Still a little painful but it was a great woodie |
