How about the random hollidays that no one knows about fut find out they exist through some kind of calender app or social media? You know, like national comic bood day or national walk backwards day. Probably the opposite.

An addendum to my last comment. I did not spend time with or talk to my mom on mothers day because I never will be able to again.

I have to agree with you on this one, pretty much in every way but primary how folks have so holidays we all can get around. As you can tell from the date of this comment, one of the most recent holidays we celebrated in the states is the 4th of July. Who doesn't enjoy and celebrate the 4th of July? Pretty much all the rest of the world. It's one of many holidays specific to our country.

in Argentina we have kids day, not son/daughter day but kids day, you get a present for kids day, except if you are a teenager, in that case,you are a kid, but also an adult so no present for teenagers, i'm not sure if there is something like that in other countries though
