2 the person below me: the ride was destroyed it was never used again after Katies accident. I agree that it was good it was shut down. You would have 2 be out of your mind 2 ride it after what happened to her.

I loved that ride. Very sad the girl's feet got cut off ,but I think they should have fixed the safety problems and reopened it.

The one in Texas is manufactured by a different company, S&S rides inc. The Superman Tower of Power at Six Flags St. Louis and Kentucky Kingdom are manufactured by Intamin rides inc. The towers operate totally differently. The S&S towers did not close after the accident.

i live in aus and we have the tallest vertical drop ride here and despite of the accident it continues to run, although im never fucking going on it again
