@13AsHlEyLuVsYa13 No, they were closing down, because Six Flags is pretty well bankrupt and the land cost to much to lease. There are plans to reopen in 2012 though :)

I remember in 2005 i was 7 and it was my first time getting on. i got on with my aunt who worked at ky kingdom and we both chickened once we stopped at the top. our seat was the last to fall!! it was gr8 while it lasted.

icant believe they actually closed this down after what happend to kaitlyn just this year they closed down six lfags kentucky kingdom i think they closed it since no one seemed 2 come back after what happend

I don't blame anybody for this accident but Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. I know for a fact that they sold the stock cables provided by Intamin for cheaper ones. The cables were what caused the girls feet to become injured enough to be amputated, so the accident wouldn't have occurred if SF hadn't replaced those cables.
