Raging Wolf Bobs at Geauga Lake

This is of the now SBNO Raging Wolf Bobs at the now closed Geauga Lake. Raging Wolf Bobs was designed by Curtis Summers and built by the Dinn Corporation in 1988. It started a new wooden coaster building rage across the country. The coaster originally had trailered PTC trains, but over the years they were changed to Gerstlauer trains. I only have a major portion but am missing a small part of the end of the ride. Enjoy this great coaster that may not be standing much longer! Thanks to a certain Dick!

This was my favorite ride as a kid. Even though every time I road it, it gave me bruises. I had to of 11 or 12 the last time I was on it. Which was back before it was even touched by sixflags.

@cjazzman1 Yeah back in the day it was a long wait but toward the end of the park's days, no one was ever on that thing. I think it was a great ride longer and better than big dipper IMO but it was in a horrible location of the park unlike the dipper right smack in the middle. Shame either way loved this park.....

@myredrose1974 right after the crossover at the middle of the ride. it completed the crossover than derailed at the top of the rise.

I loved this ride! that dick ruined everything.. this was a busy ride with lines..cedar fair got a hold of this and fucked up the park!!!! that piece of shit, so now we have to beg the new one to bring dipper and this back, and maybe seaworld.. this track is still there, a lot actually, it wasnt all sold.. u can still see it in the back.

i'm pushin 30 and i still miss the wolf bobs. out of all the coasters at geauga lake, the big dipper and wolf bobs were my top 2 favs. it killed me when they closed down the park. i recently rode over there with my fiancee to see what the park looks like now. saw the tracks separated from one of the hills on the bobs and tears welled up in my eyes. i had alot of fond memories at this park both when it was geauga lake owned and six flags. |
