Thunderhawk Gets Stuck (Geauga Lake)

This video shows the Thunderhawk roller coaster at Geauga Lake (Aurora, OH) stuck at the top of the lift hill, due to a brief power outage. You can see a worker talking to the people on the ride. The ride resumed after about 15 minutes. Sorry, but there's no sound for the first part of the video.Due to Cedar Fair's closure of the 119-year-old Geauga Lake amusement park, this ride was moved to Michigan's Adventure in 2008.

They have a ride called Thunderhawk at Dorney Park, Pennsylvania. It is wooden though,

lol it still has this problem at its new location at michigans adventure... while i was there it got stuck there but also on the first brake run...

@HaisterCaisterShow: I've never been to Kings Island, at least not yet. I'll probably make it down there someday. But yeah, Geauga Lake closed in September 2007, just one month after I recorded this video. :(

Awesome!! A rollercoaster video!! Have you ever been on Diamondback at Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio? That's one of our favorites- along with Great Bear at HersheyPark in PA. This ride looks really fun too, but Geauga Lake closed, didn't it? :(

I've seen that coaster in person too! I can't say I've been on it though, 'cause I haven't. Roller coasters scare me. I'M ASHAMED!!

I was there on that ride I was in the first row first seat, my cousin was next to me, my mom and grandma were behind us and my step dad was behind them....everyone was crying and it was more like 20 minutes that we were there and to make it worse some asshole in the back was talking about final destination movies...once the ride got started it wasnt bad but that part of it was really scary. |
