The ride looks impressive, but I personally thought it was rough, forceless, and kinda boring. And they only ever run one train on each side. Aaaaand they never race, either.

I think you may have misunderstood me because I mentioned nothing about the sound of it. The "Made in China" comment was to joke about how slow the chain lift is. And it's called an Anti-Rollback Device, "dogs" found under the cars fall and place into the teeths on the ratchet.

what you dont understand is that the noise behind isnt the sound of the chain lift. its simply the thing who ''crank'' the train if there was an accident like ; the train goes up.... and... poof ! the chain broke ! but the cranking thing make that the train stay on the rail. if the cranking thing wasnt there, the train will go down and crash.understand ?

Rob...neeed to know what were your thoughts of Le Monstre... Me its my favorite rollercoaster because its always scares the bejebus out of me because it feels sooo sketch!

i went on that coaster...it might not look very scary on vid...but seriously it is very strong and the curves are scary...and since its wooden thats the thrill of it! I never went on such exciting coaster!

i live close to laronde and i go 15 time par years at. YES the right side of the coaster is always working ^_^.no, it was not the tallest at the opening. the tallest was El Toro.but this coaster is the tallest and fastest DOUBLE TRACK wooden coaster in the entire world.
