cedair fair is a money grubbing asshole company, ive never been to geauaga lake but ive seen pic and heard about it, i loved kings island before cedair fair owned it and FUCKED it to hell. they take peoples childhood memories and destroy them, screw you cedair fair, all they wanted was to stop competition with cedair point. fuck cedair point

blame CF/CP all you want. GL could have thrived as a small time family oriented amusement park but NOT as a 'wannabee' big league theme park like CP, the big 6 flags parks, and disney parks. I personally think that Premier Parks/Six Flags screwed the pooch when they blended GL into the 6flags family and tried to aggressively compete with the granddaddy of them all 90 mi away. Adding GL to the CF/CP family didn't do much to save the park either especially w/ the flagship 90 minutes away

I love KI and CP and never went to Geauga Lake. But what cedar fair did to it was absolutely wrong. Families have been going there for years, then CF ruined that. Cedar Fair, suck my admission-paying, attendance-giving, ticket-buying balls before I ever go to a cedar fair park again.

If I had the money I would buy the whole park,and restore everything back to the way it was.So many people loved the park.it was a crying shame to close it just because of greed and the bottom line not being what everyone wanted it to be.

The thing where people dressed up in those costumes and walked around the park, they discontinued that in the early 90's I think.
