Dorney Sells Laser Rollercoaster

Dorney Park has sold the double-loop roller coaster, Laser. The steel neon green and purple coaster arrived at Dorney Park in 1986 under the name Colossus.

Laser is a portable roller coaster that is anchored to the ground by tanks of water. The ride, which stands 93 feet tall and 2,200 feet long, can be transported on 26 trailers, according to its page on usedrides.com.

With the loss of Laser, Dorney Park will still have seven other thrill rides, including six coasters.
